I have a conundrum for the week which I'd like to share and let me know if you can relate - media, in general, can be unknowingly manipulative if you aren't conscious of your consumption habits.
Whether it is about news, fake news, loud marketing, brands not good for you creating a relatable story to funnel you in, fad diets and lifestyle choices, apps trying to make you addicted consumers - it's a whole different world.
If one isn't asking questions, if one isn't conscious or aware of their choices, their decisions - it becomes so easy to be a part of someone else's story and then promoting that.
Social media isn't the only one to blame, but on the contrary, it's us individuals - who are the bait, who can be psychologically manipulated and easily. Self Awareness is the key.
PODCAST: Whether with regards to our lifestyle habits, our personal or professional lives, we feel that we are the way we are. Or some things about us cannot be changed. That is simply not true.
In this episode of ‘Mindset Marketing Movies’, ‘Everything about you can be Changed’, I take a deep dive into that mindset and give you a different take on the topic. Listen to it below.
